While Botox (onabotulinumtoxin A) is produced by Allergan in Westport, Ireland, Jeuveau (prabotulinumtoxin A) is produced in Seoul, South Korea.
So why are people going crazy for Jeuveau? The biggest reason is the cost. Although Jeuveau is structurally identical to the others, it is slated to be sold at a lower price, making it more appealing.
The parent company, Evolus, has announced that the product will be priced at a premium, which analysts estimate to be a 20-30 percent price reduction.

Botox has medical indications and was used for medical treatment before being approved for cosmetics. However, Jeuveau is purely cosmetic, meaning that it is not subject to any insurance coverage or reimbursements.
This saves the company and providers money, allowing them to sell the product at a lower cost. The company is also offering a $75 coupon and a full loyalty program!
