Why Influencers Are Still Getting Botox and Filler During Lockdown

Despite shelter in place orders, influencers are still getting Botox and filler during lockdown.

Here’s why some Instagram and YouTube stars are going to great lengths to maintain their beauty regimens – even in the midst of a pandemic.

Influencers Feel Compelled to Maintain a Youthful Appearance on Camera

Marcus, 28, is a social media influencer with 40,000 YouTube subscribers.

He revealed that he has been undergoing his usual cosmetic treatments, including Botox and fillers, during quarantine because he feels a professional responsibility to look youthful and camera-ready at all times.

Especially since subscribers are consuming more digital content than ever, as they work from home and stay connected online.

They Believe It’s an Ideal Time to Undergo a Treatment and Recover at Home

Because they are already confined to their homes, without work events or social gatherings, many influencers see lockdown as an ideal time to recover privately from a cosmetic procedure.

This also allows them to emerge from quarantine looking fresh-faced, without anyone knowing that they’ve have any type of treatment.
