Job Description: Experienced Cosmetic Medical Aesthetician
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cosmetic Medical Aesthetician to join our team of professionals in providing exceptional cosmetic skincare treatments and services to our patients. As a Cosmetic Medical Aesthetician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of advanced skincare procedures and utilizing cutting-edge technology to help clients achieve their desired aesthetic goals. This position requires a high level of expertise in skincare, a deep understanding of cosmetic procedures, and a passion for delivering outstanding client experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of cosmetic skincare treatments, including but not limited to custom facials, HydraFacial, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser treatments (Sciton BBL Hero, BareHR, QSwitch), Microneedling w/wout PRP, Morpheus8 and other advanced skincare procedures like CoolSculpting, Emsculpt Neo, Emtone & Emsella.
- Conduct thorough skin consultations and assessments to determine the most suitable treatments for clients based on their individual needs and goals.
- Present our products and services to potential patients, highlighting the unique value proposition and addressing how they align with their specific needs.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
- Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions, educate clients on skincare routines, and recommend appropriate homecare products to enhance treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements, trends, and techniques in cosmetic skincare and aesthetics to provide clients with the most innovative and effective treatments.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, sterilize equipment, and ensure compliance with all safety and hygiene standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service, addressing their concerns, and providing professional advice on skincare maintenance.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare and aesthetics team, including physicians, nurses, and other aestheticians, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to client care.
- Assist in marketing and promoting skincare services, participating in educational events, and contributing to the growth of the aesthetic department.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards, including maintaining client confidentiality, obtaining informed consent, and complying with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Hold a valid aesthetician license/certification from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience as a Cosmetic Medical Aesthetician, demonstrating expertise in a wide range of cosmetic skincare treatments and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and common skin conditions, with the ability to assess and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Familiarity with advanced skincare technologies, laser systems, and other aesthetic equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively explain treatment options and aftercare instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in performing treatments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, ethics, and client confidentiality.
- Continuous education and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements and best practices.
