Daxxify Works Similarly to Botox
Essentially, neuromodulators freeze wrinkles by paralyzing the muscle underneath. This relaxes the tissue and creates a smoother appearance. The results are temporary, meaning they wear off over time. So, many people get multiple injections each year to maintain optimal results.
How Daxxify is Different
Firstly, the major advantage of Daxxify is its duration of effectiveness. While other neuromodulators report lasting between 3-5 months, Daxxify results last around six months. That means patients get longer lasting results, and fewer maintenance treatments each year.
Additionally, another difference is that while Botox and other neuromodulators are created from human serum albumin, Daxxify doesn’t contain any human or animal products. Daxxify contains peptides, or amino acids. These peptides may help Daxxify last longer.
