Why Choose Our Practice

Thoughtful Dermatologic + Cosmetic Care, Guided by Purpose and Medical Expertise

Why Choose Our Practice

Choosing where to trust your skin matters. Our practice is guided by a clear mission: to help every person look and feel their best through ethical, compassionate, and results-driven care. That mission shapes how we practice medicine, how we communicate, and how we show up for our patients every day.

From routine dermatology to cosmetic care, we believe treatment decisions should be grounded in medical judgment, clinical experience, and respect for the individual — never trends or pressure.

Physician-Led Care With Integrity

Our practice was founded in 2003 by Dr. Syed Amiry, a Board-Certified Dermatologist who provides medical and cosmetic oversight across the practice. Dr. Amiry completed an AACS-approved cosmetic dermatology fellowship and has been performing injectables and cosmetic procedures since 2003. He remains actively involved in clinical standards, safety protocols, and ongoing training.

Medical dermatology services are delivered by Board-Certified Physician Assistants with extensive dermatology experience, working under physician supervision. Our cosmetic providers are medically trained and practice within clearly defined clinical protocols.

This structure reflects our commitment to excellence, accountability, and continuous growth — for both patients and providers.

Safety, Ethics, and Preparation Come First

Ethical care means doing what is appropriate, not what is fastest or most profitable.

We place a strong emphasis on aseptic technique, preparation, and complication readiness across all medical and cosmetic services. Our team is trained to recognize and respond appropriately to risk, and we maintain the necessary medications and protocols should a complication occur.

Safety is not an add-on in our practice — it is foundational.

A Dermatology Practice — Not a Medspa

We are a dermatology practice that offers cosmetic care — not a medspa. That distinction matters.

Our recommendations are informed by diagnosis, anatomy, and long-term skin health. Treatments are selected because they offer evidence-based improvement, not because they are trendy. When something is not appropriate or not in a patient’s best interest, we communicate that honestly.

This approach reflects our belief that patients deserve clarity, respect, and trust.

Clear Communication and Transparent Expectations

Compassionate care starts with communication.
We take the time to explain:

  • treatment options and alternatives
  • realistic outcomes and limitations
  • whether a service is medically necessary or elective
  • pricing and self-pay considerations when applicable
Patients are empowered to make informed decisions — without pressure.

A Culture That Values People

We cultivate a culture where patients and team members are seen, valued, and supported. Our environment is professional, calm, and reassuring, and our focus is on building lasting relationships — not transactional visits.

Through clinical expertise, communication, and genuine care, we aim to create a positive impact with every visit.

The Bottom Line

If you’re looking for dermatologic and cosmetic care that is: physician-led ethically grounded safety-focused and delivered with compassion and respect —you’re in the right place.
