How Self-Pay Dermatology Works
You do not need insurance coverage to be seen by our dermatology team. If you are uninsured, out of network, or prefer not to use your insurance, we offer self-pay dermatology with straightforward
pricing and clear expectations.
Our goal is to provide high-quality medical dermatologic care while making costs as predictable
and transparent as possible.
Who Self-Pay
Dermatology Is For
Self-pay dermatology may be a good option if you:
- Do not have health insurance
- Are out of network with your insurance plan
- Have a high deductible and prefer transparent pricing
- Are seeking care for a condition not covered by insurance
Visit Pricing
Self-pay pricing applies to the
office visit only.
New Patient Dermatology Visit
$275
Follow-Up Dermatology Visit
$175
All pricing is subject to change at any time.
Final visit fees are confirmed at the time of service.
These fees cover the medical evaluation and consultation.
Procedures + Additional Services
Office visit fees do not include the cost of procedures such as:
- Biopsies
- Excisions
- Removal of growths
Procedure pricing is subject to change and is confirmed in the office prior to treatment.
Pathology Fees
If a biopsy or excision is performed, tissue samples are sent to an independent dermatopathology laboratory for analysis.
Self-Pay Pathology Fees
$75 - $135
Pathology pricing is determined by the laboratory and is subject to change. Final charges are billed directly by the dermatopathology provider.
Pathology fees are separate from office visit
and procedure charges.
Why Patients Choose Self-Pay
- Transparent visit pricing
- No insurance restrictions
- Direct access to dermatology care
- Clear procedure quotes before treatment
Ready to Schedule?
If you would like to schedule a dermatology visit without using insurance, our team can help you determine whether self-pay is the right option.
Insurance vs Self-Pay
If we are in network with your insurance, services may be billed to your plan. Insurance coverage does not include deductibles, copays, or coinsurance, and any portion not paid by your plan remains your responsibility.
If you choose to self-pay, services are not submitted to insurance, and no insurance claims or diagnosis codes are provided.
Cosmetic Treatments and Insurance
Cosmetic and elective treatments — including injectables, laser procedures, and other appearance-focused services — are provided on a self-pay basis only.
We do not submit insurance claims, provide diagnosis codes, or complete insurance documentation for cosmetic treatments, even if patients intend to seek reimbursement independently.
Pricing Transparency
We believe in clear communication and transparency.
- All pricing discussed on our website is subject to change without notice
- Final pricing is always reviewed in the office before any procedure is performed
- You will have the opportunity to ask questions and decide how to proceed
