September is National Skin Care Awareness Month. September is a busy time with kids starting back to school, teens heading off to college, and everyone wrapping up their summer fun. Your skin is your body’s largest organ. When we talk about skin care, most people only think of their face. While your face is important, skin care is for your entire body. Your neck, arms, chest, and legs can receive just as much sun exposure as your face, so it’s important to include sunscreen, cleansers, and moisturizers in your daily routine for those areas as well.
The best time to moisturize is when step out of the shower and pat yourself dry. And don’t forget the sunscreen!
